Choosing the Right Containers

Select containers that provide adequate drainage to prevent waterlogging. Terracotta or clay pots are excellent choices because they allow air circulation and moisture evaporation. Ensure the pots are large enough to accommodate the growing roots of your seedlings.

Preparing the Potting Mix

A well-draining, nutrient-rich soil mix is essential for foxglove seedlings. Use a combination of:

  • Garden soil or compost
  • Perlite or coarse sand for drainage
  • Peat moss or coconut coir for moisture retention

Mix these components thoroughly to create an ideal environment for seedling growth.

Sowing the Seeds
