Preparing Your Caladiums for Winter
Before winter arrives, follow these steps to prepare your caladiums:
- Allow the foliage to yellow naturally before removing it.
- Carefully dig up the tubers once the leaves have died back.
- Brush off excess soil gently.
- Let the tubers dry in a cool, ventilated area for a few days.
Creating a Suitable Indoor Environment
Once the tubers are stored, establish an indoor habitat that supports their dormant state. Key factors include temperature, humidity, and light.
Temperature Control
